Easy JMX: JMX tool (JMX client)

Easy JMX (former SuperDashboard) is a JMX (Java Management Extensions) tool as a JMX client. It is a monitor and management tool. It manages your applications and your application servers through MBean (Management Bean). It allows you to do the following things visually:

• View attributes of MBeans.
• Set attributes of MBeans. 
• Call operations of MBean.
• Construct new MBeans by calling constructors.
• Set descriptor for Model MBeans.
• Set field of Descriptor for Model MBean.
• Export your case (selected data) to Super Shcheduler and Super Watchdog as scheduled tasks. 
• Export MBean's notification to Super Watchdog as a trigger.

No programming is required. Your keyboard is necessary if you want input values for poking.

The result of Peeking is displayed on the PeekKaleidoscope Panel, which consists of:

• Monitor Panel (table view)
• Time Series Panel (Time Series chart view)
• Pie Panel (Pie chart view)

Easy JMX lists all available MBeans and all available attributes, constructors, operations, notifications, descriptors and fields as a graphic tree for you to choose. You do not need the source code of target MBeans for monitor or control.

Easy JMX uses standard features of JMX, so it works for any J2EE, Java EE server (compliant to J2EE specification 1.4, or later).

Easy JMX supports the following J2EE, Java EE application servers:

• JBoss: open source 4.00
• JOnAS: open source 4.3
• WebLogic 9 - 10
• WebSphere 6 - 6
• Universal

Super is platform neutral. it has been tested on the following platforms:

• IBM hardware System I RedHat 4.
• IBM hardware pSeries  AIX 3 5.
• IBM hardware pSeries  RedHat 4.
• IBM hardware xSeries  RedHat 4.
• IBM hardware xSeries  Windows 2003.
• IBM hardware zSeries (mainframe S390)   RedHat 4.
• Linux: RedHat 7.3, server 3.
• Linux: SUSE 8 (kernel  2.4.19-4GB) (IBM xSeries).
• Solaris 7, 8 and 9 (Sparc).
• Windows 2000, XP.

Easy JMX is not activated by default. If you are interested in Easy JMX, please contact us. New version of Easy JMX will be enhanced to work with all application servers and no server (just JMX).
