What are the differences for different servers?
Acelet-Scheduler supports many J2EE servers from different vendors and versions. The main differences are:

• Different settings during installation (you may or may not notice).
• Different compiled EJBs with vendor specific stubs. You will see some jar files with a server name on it for distinguishing them from others.
• Some features may or may not be available to all servers.

The differences are "hidden" in the installation program and Envoy components.

Everything else is exactly the same. You do not see any difference. So, the server name is on the title bar of the main window to remind you, otherwise you can not tell.

Websphere

Which Java (JDK) should I use when I install Acelet-Scheduler?

You should use the Java which comes with Websphere. To find it, open Websphere console.

• For Websphere 5.1: from left pane, click Environment > Manage Websphere Variables. On the right pane, look up JAVA_HOME.
• For Websphere 6.0: from left pane, click Environment > Websphere Variables. On the right pane, look up JAVA_HOME.

The Java is under JAVA_HOME. For example, for Microsoft Windows, if JAVA_HOME is d:\WebSphere\AppServer\java, the Java is d:\WebSphere\AppServer\java\bin\java.exe.
